Laura Linney

Laura Linney is an American actress, who is famous for her portrayal of strong, yet vulnerable characters. Linney was raised in an theatre-loving family, with her father, Romulus Linney being a playwright. She graduated from Brown University in 1986 and later studied at the Arts Theatre School in Moscow and graduated from the Juilliard School (M.F.A.) New York City, 1990. She began to perform in Broadway as soon as she arrived, and was later awarded high praise for her performance as a part of Six Degrees of Separation (Six Degrees of Separation) as well as Hedda Galer.
