Scarlett Johansson, American actress (born on November 22, 1985 New York City New York) is awaited for her recognition due to her acting abilities across various genres from the period dramas through thrillers to action adventures. Johansson was born in New York City, and raised there by her architect father and producer mother. Hunter was twin to her younger sister. In her early years, she began acting. Actually, at the age of 7, she had already auditioned for a number of commercials. Johansson then appeared in Just Cause, but she was first seen in Manny & Lo, a film that follows orphaned siblings as they escape. The film received critical acclaim for her role as a teenager who has been injured in a horrific accident in The Horse Whisperer (1998) and she gained further attention for her role as the cynical teenage exiled Rebecca in Ghost World (2001).
