Chando resides in New York City. Chando attended Manhattan College prior to becoming an actor. Chando played the character Maddie Coleman in the TV soap drama As The World Turns from 2005-2007 and, for a short period from late 2009 onwards her character was reprised. Alexandra began her acting career in 2002 through the TV show House Blend playing the character in the role of Jenna Harper. As the World Turns on CBS was her first TV part following three years. Chando appeared on the American television documentary show True life in 2009. She was also a part of Sherri. Also, she acted as Annabelle in two episodes Glory Daze, an American comedy/drama television series. In addition, her other TV credits include Castle, Hindsight, Dead People and Outcast.
